Privacy Policy
As of: April 2026
We are pleased that you are visiting our website and are interested in our practice. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you about the processing of your personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Responsible Party
Dr. med. Jan Dracklé
Rudolfstrasse 13, 2. Stock, 8400 Winterthur
E-mail: jan.drackle@hin.ch

2. Data Processed When Visiting the Website
When you visit the website, the following data is collected in server log files for technical provision and stored for a maximum of 14 days:
- IP address (shortened/anonymized after processing)
- Date and time of access
- Page accessed, browser type, operating system, referrer URL
This processing serves to ensure operation, security and error analysis.
3. Contact Form
If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, subject, message) will be stored for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. No disclosure to third parties takes place. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing, at the latest after the statutory retention periods have expired.
To prevent spam, your IP address is stored in the form of an anonymized SHA-256 hash for one hour (rate limit against automated requests).
4. Web Analytics with Matomo
This website uses Matomo, a free and open-source analytics tool operated on our own server in Switzerland. No cookies are set and your IP address is anonymized before any analysis (masking of the last bytes). No disclosure of analytics data to third parties takes place. You can object to the analysis at any time by activating the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser — this will be respected.
5. Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary cookies, for example to maintain your session when submitting the contact form (protection against cross-site request forgery, CSRF). Tracking or marketing cookies are not used.
6. Embedded Maps (Google Maps)
A map from Google Maps is embedded on the contact page to facilitate directions. When you access the map, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google LLC (USA). Google is responsible for this processing. Information on Google's data protection can be found at policies.google.com/privacy. If you wish to avoid transmission to Google, please contact us alternatively by telephone or email.
7. Data Processors
To provide the website, we commission the following service providers who act as data processors within the meaning of Art. 9 revDSG on our behalf:
- Metanet AG, Josefstrasse 218, 8005 Zürich (hosting; server location: Switzerland)
There is a data processing agreement in place that ensures confidential and data protection-compliant processing.
8. Disclosure Abroad
Disclosure of your personal data abroad only takes place to the extent that you access content that integrates third-party providers from abroad (e.g. Google Maps in the USA). In all other cases, your data is processed exclusively in Switzerland.
9. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss and manipulation. The transmission of this website is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
10. Your Rights
You have the right under revDSG (and where applicable GDPR) to:
- Information about the data processed about you
- Correction of incorrect data
- Deletion or blocking of your data
- Data disclosure or transfer
- Withdrawal of consents given
To assert these rights, please contact the address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): edoeb.admin.ch.
11. Notice on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
In the interest of maximum transparency, we inform you about the use of AI tools in the creation of this website:
- Texts: Parts of the content were created with the assistance of generative AI models (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) as initial drafts. All medical and factual content has been personally reviewed, edited and approved by Dr. med. Jan Dracklé. The professional and substantive responsibility lies exclusively with the practice.
- Images: Some of the illustrations as well as all depictions of people — with the exception of the portrait of Dr. med. Jan Dracklé — were created or edited with the help of generative AI image tools. These are not real patients, but stylized, artificially generated representations for illustrative purposes. The physician's portrait is a genuine photograph.
- Patient data: Patient or health data are never entered into AI tools. AI is used exclusively for general content and technical tasks (code, texts).
This practice complies with the transparency requirement of the revDSG as well as the FMH recommendations on the use of AI in the medical environment. Should future regulatory requirements — in particular the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act from 02.08.2026 — require more specific labeling, we will supplement the content accordingly.
12. Changes to This Statement
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy statement to reflect changes in the legal situation or changes to our services. The current version applies to your visit.
